We know how hard it can be to think of things to do during the holidays or when our group isn’t on! Here is a list of places we have tried and tested and would recommend.

Worcester City


The Commandery

Free entry for Worcester residents. Museum with various activities throughout the year. Fabulous walled garden ideal for picnics. Toilets with baby changing facilities.

Countryside centre

Great play equipment for young and older children, large field, woodland paths, meadow trails, café and toilets with baby changing facilities.

Cripplegate Park


Large park with open spaces, tennis courts, fountain, zip-wire, and two play parks. There are public toilets, remember to take some change! There is a cafe in the centre of the park.

Tybridge Street, St Johns, Worcester

Diglis Playing Fields

Large area with football pitches, cherry orchard nature reserve, and miniature train rides on selected dates during the summer period. New play equipment opens on 16th July 2015.

Fort Royal ParkFort Royal Park

Play park with large climbing frame suitable for older children, separate play area for toddlers down the hills, and large grassed areas with fantastic views of the cathedral. Great for a picnic.

Play park, large fields, duck pond and Splash pad- take your costumes!

The Hive

Wonderful joint public and university library including a large and colourful children’s area, with access to ‘Story Island’, the café, internet access and weekly singing sessions.

Saffron Children’s Centre

Saffron’s runs a variety of free sessions including Baby Cafe,  Friday Fun Time and Toddle and Talk.  They also offer information, support and advice about anything to do with caring for young children.

Cheeky Monkeys

A spacious soft play area; they are regularly adding additional services such as Gym Tots sessions. Other new developments include holiday play schemes and after school club. A friendly place and a great location!

Little Acorns

Large soft play area with a variety of zones including a baby area.

Further Afield

Newbridge Farm

A lovely fun filled day out for the little ones. Lots of animals to see, feed and pet. The farm offers pony rides, tractor rides, picnic area and play area (includes covered play barn area just in case it rains)!


Malvern Splash

Family leisure pool with beach, waves and slide.
